Definition: States of subjective distress and emotional disturbance, usually interfering with social functioning and performance, arising in the period of adaptation to a significant life change or a stressful life event. Omschrijving: Toestanden van subjectieve spanning en emotionele ontregeling die doorgaans het sociaal functioneren en optreden belemmeren en ontstaan in de periode van aanpassing aan een belangrijke levensverandering of stressveroorzakende levensgebeurtenis.
