Where it is found that seed subject to an aid application was not actually marketed within the meaning of Article 31 point (b)(iii) for sowing by the farmer, the aid to be paid for the species concerned, after application of any reductions to be applied in accordance with Article 52, shall be reduced by 50 % if the quantity not marketed amounts to more than 2 % but no more than 5 % of the quantity covered by the aid application.
