In the interests of clarity, Commission Regulation (EC) No 1071/2005 of 1 July 2005 laying down detailed rules for applying Council Regulation (EC) No 2826/2000 on information and promotion actions for agricultural products on the internal market (2) and Commission Regulation (EC) No 1346/2005 of 16 August 2005 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 2702/1999 on measures to provide information on, and to promote, agricultural products in third countries (3) should therefore be repealed and replaced by a single regulation, whilst maintaining, in separate chapters, the specific features of measures according to the market in which they are implemented.
Omwille van de duidelijkheid moeten Verordening (EG) nr. 1071/2005 van de Commissie van 1 juli 2005 houdende uitvoeringsbepalingen van Verordening (EG) nr. 2826/2000 van de Raad betreffende voorlichtings- en afzetbevorderingsacties voor landbouwproducten op de binnenmarkt (2) en Verordening (EG) nr. 1346/2005 van de Commissie van 16 augustus 2005 houdende uitvoeringsbepalingen van Verordening (EG) nr. 2702/1999 van de Raad betreffende voorlichtings- en afzetbevorderingsacties voor landbouwproducten in derde landen (3), daarom worden ingetrokken en worden vervangen door één verordening met verschillende hoofdstukken waarin de door de plaats van uitvoering bepaalde specifieke kenmerken van de acties net als tevoren in aanmerking worden genomen.

Before dealing with the current legislative proposal, the European Commission delivered a special Report on the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 2702/1999 on measures to provide information on, and to promote, agricultural products in third countries and Council Regulation (EC) No 2826/2000 on information and promotion actions for agricultural products on the internal market, where it proposed five actions to be taken as a result of the conclusions taken from the experience gained by the Community in the application of the programmes.
