3. Irrespective of the outcome of the clinical investigation, within one year from the end of the clinical performance study or from its early termination , the sponsor shall submit to the Member States concerned the results of the clinical investigation in form of a clinical investigation report referred to in Section 2.7 of Chapter I of Annex XIV. It shall be accompanied by a summary presented in terms that are easily understandable to a layperson.
3. In order to comply with the information requirement referred to in paragraph 1, carriers and terminal managing bodies may use a summary of the provisions of this Regulation prepared by the Commission in all the official languages of the institutions of the European Union and made available to them.

De vervoerder en de terminalbeheerder kunnen aan de in lid 1 bedoelde informatieplicht voldoen met behulp van een door de Commissie in alle officiële talen van de instellingen van de Europese Unie opgestelde samenvatting van de bepalingen van deze verordening, die hun ter beschikking wordt gesteld.
