There is no doubt about the huge potential of advanced medical therapies when it comes to providing revolutionary cures for serious conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease and skin burns, and therefore I welcome the regulation of the European Commission aimed at harmonising procedures in this field across the EU, and ensuring that sufferers have safe cures for these serious ailments.
Dat geavanceerde medische therapieën een enorm potentieel hebben staat buiten kijf. Zij maken revolutionaire behandeling mogelijk van ernstige ziekten als kanker, parkinson en huidbrandwonden. Daarom ben ik ook verheugd over de verordening van de Europese Commissie, die tot doel heeft de procedures op dit gebied in de EU te harmoniseren en ervoor te zorgen dat patiënten op een veilige manier behandeld worden voor deze ernstige ziekten.
