Toroidal magnetic confinement formulas include, besides Tokamak, also Stellarator and Reversed Field Pinch, which are presently studied in the Associations.
Formules voor door toroïdale magnetische opsluiting omvatten, behalve Tokamak ook stellarator en insnoering met omgekeerd veld en worden momenteel in het kader van de associaties bestudeerd.

The Associations’ programme includes, among others, studies of toroidal magnetic confinement schemes other than the tokamak (in particular the continuation of the construction of the Wendelstein 7-X “stellarator”), research on fusion materials and keeping in touch with civil research activities on inertial confinement and possible alternative concepts.

Fusion Energy Research, Expected results, contributions to overall objectives or potential performances parameters, indent 5): "a deeper assessment of fusion configurations akin to the Tokamak", should then be modified accordingly into: "a deeper assessment of toroidal magnetic confinement formulas", in order to avoid any misunderstanding.
De volgende zin, opgenomen in het Financieel Memorandum bij het onderhavige voorstel, (sectie 5.2, Voorgenomen acties en wijze van financiering uit de begroting, punt 2, Onderzoek naar fusie-energie, Verwachte resultaten, bijdragen aan algemene doelstellingen of mogelijke prestatieparameters, 5e streepje): "een uitgebreidere evaluatie van aan de Tokamak verwante fusieconfiguraties" dient dienovereenkomstig te worden gewijzigd in: "een dieper gaande evaluatie van formules voor toroïdale magnetische opsluiting", teneinde ieder misverstand te voorkomen.
