having regard to the UN Secretary-General’s reports of 9 March 2016 on the United Nations Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the DRC and on the implementation of the Peace, Security and Cooperation Framework for the DRC and the Region,

having regard to the UN Security Council resolutions on the DRC, in particular resolutions 2198 (2015) on renewing the DRC sanctions regime and the mandate of the Group of Experts, and 2277 (2016), which renewed the mandate of the United Nations Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the DRC (MONUSCO) for a year,

T. whereas the European Union has provided support for the African Union High-Level Panel, which includes the former South African President Thabo Mbeki as chair, and for the UN missions, namely the United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS), the United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS), the United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) and the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA);
T. overwegende dat de Europese Unie steun heeft gegeven aan het Implementatiepanel op hoog niveau van de Afrikaanse Unie, met onder meer de oud-president van Zuid-Afrika Thabo Mbeki als voorzitter, evenals aan de missies van de Verenigde Naties, te weten de VN-missie in Sudan (UNMIS), de VN-missie in de Republiek Zuid-Sudan (UNMISS), de hybride operatie van de Verenigde Naties en Afrikaanse Unie in Darfur (UNAMID) en de VN-veiligheidsmacht voor Abyei (UNISFA);

The Council recalls that it has used a wide range of tools to help to improve the situation in Burma/Myanmar, which included full support to the good offices mission of United Nations Special Envoy Ibrahim Gambari and political dialogue with Burma’s neighbouring countries.
De Raad herinnert eraan dat een groot aantal instrumenten werden ingezet om de situatie in Birma/Myanmar te helpen verbeteren. Authorities established by the international community to act as the civil administration in some areas, such as the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), shall be duly consulted on implementation of the Community assistance in their areas.
3. De door de internationale gemeenschap ingestelde instanties die met het burgerlijke bestuur van bepaalde gebieden belast zijn, met name de Hoge Vertegenwoordiger in Bosnië-Herzegovina en de missie van de Verenigde Naties in Kosovo (Unmik), worden naar behoren geraadpleegd omtrent de uitvoering van de communautaire bijstand voor deze gebieden.
