I agree with the fundamentals of the principles laid down in the report, in particular in terms of non-discrimination in fields such as education, lifelong learning, employment, social protection, housing and healthcare, the images of groups that are victims of discrimination in the media and advertising, physical access for disabled people to information, telecommunications, electronic communications, the different methods of transport and public spaces, social benefits and access to them, as well as the goods and services made available to the public, etc.

At its first meeting, the Forum will set up working parties on topics such as: - Implications for the work organization and the methods - Access to information and networks - Social life in the "virtual community" - Access to public services: "electronic democracy" - Cultural and linguistic diversity: opportunities and challenges - Protection of the individual - Education - Sustainable developpment The Forum will choose from among its members a Chairman, two Vice-Chairmen and the Chairmen of the working parties.
Op de eerste vergadering van het Forum zullen er werkgroepen worden opgericht rond thema's als: - organisatie en werkmethoden; - toegang tot informatie en tot netwerken; - samenleving en "virtuele gemeenschap"; - toegang tot overheidsdiensten: "elektronische democratie"; - culturele en taalkundige verscheidenheid: kansen en uitdagingen; - bescherming van het individu; - opleiding.
