The biological tests will be carried out on the donor’s serum or plasma; they must not be performed on other fluids or secretions such as the aqueous or vitreous humour unless specifically justified clinically using a validated test for such a fluid.
De biologische tests worden uitgevoerd op serum of plasma van de donor; zij mogen niet op andere vloeistoffen of secreta zoals kamervocht of glasvocht worden uitgevoerd, tenzij dat uit klinisch oogpunt gerechtvaardigd is, in welk geval een gevalideerde test voor een dergelijke vloeistof moet worden gebruikt.
