It followed from the discussions with Member States at the Working Party of Governmental Experts on Additives that there is an equivalent technological need for food additives for diluted acetic acid and for vinegars from agricultural origin.
Uit besprekingen met de lidstaten binnen de werkgroep van regeringsdeskundigen voor additieven is gebleken dat de technologische behoefte aan levensmiddelenadditieven in de vorm van verdund azijnzuur en in de vorm van azijn van agrarische oorsprong even groot is.

Urges the G20 to coordinate the creation of preventive mechanisms against the excessive fluctuation of prices and to work towards regulation, specifically designed to tackle food and agricultural crises; calls on the G20 to ensure convergence of food and agricultural commodity regulation and to involve countries that are not part of the G20; asks for solutions to address excessive price volatility to be coordinated at international level; requests that abuses and manipulations of agricultural prices be fought at international level, as they potentially put at risk global food security; condemns the abusive activities of speculators in global commodities, agricultural raw materials and energy that accentuate the volatility of food prices and deepen the global food crisis;

To this end, account shall be taken of the UNECE standards recommended by the Working Party on Agricultural Quality Standards set up under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
Te dien einde wordt rekening gehouden met de VN/ECE-normen, die zijn aanbevolen door de werkgroep inzake de kwaliteitsnormen voor landbouwproducten die is ingesteld bij de Economische Commissie voor Europa van de Verenigde Naties.

To that end, and in the interest of preserving transparency on the world market, account should be taken of the UN/ECE standard FFV-09 concerning marketing and quality control of headed cabbages recommended by the Working party on agricultural quality standards of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE).
Voor het behoud van de doorzichtigheid op de internationale markten dient daarbij rekening te worden gehouden met „UN/ECE Standard FFV-09 concerning marketing and quality control of headed cabbages” (UN/ECE-norm FFV-09 betreffende het in de handel brengen en de kwaliteitscontrole van sluitkool) die is aanbevolen door de „Working Party on Agricultural Quality Standards” (Werkgroep kwaliteitsnormen voor landbouwproducten) van de Economische Commissie voor Europa van de Verenigde Naties (UN/ECE).

The contractors of third parties pay a fee to HSY to use the yard’s facilities. According to Greece, only the first category has to comply with the limitation laid down in decision N 513/01. However, HSY does not know how many hours these ‘subcontractors retained by HSY’ work since they are paid on a fixed price basis. Greece therefore proposes a method to approximate the number of hours during which they worked: first, the sum of the contract prices paid to them is reduced by 15 % — which accounts for the profit margin — and by a further 20 % (110) — which account for the indirectly productive man-hours.
