There is also a need to address the cases mentioned by the rapporteur, such as navigation accidents or plastic bags, which can have devastating consequences for economic, social and environmental sustainability in the Atlantic regions.
Verder is het nodig de door de rapporteur genoemde zaken te behandelen, zoals scheepsongevallen en de zogeheten 'plastic soep'. Beide kunnen vernietigende gevolgen hebben voor de economische, sociale en ecologische duurzaamheid van de regio's van de Atlantische Oceaan.
