In this context, the Commission regrets that Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia have signed bilateral immunity agreements with the United States, which run contrary to the "EU guiding principles concerning arrangements between a state party to the Rome Statute of the ICC and the United States regarding the conditions of surrender of persons to the court" [7].
In dit verband betreurt de Commissie dat Albanië, Bosnië en Herzegovina en de Voormalige Joegoslavische Republiek Macedonië bilaterale immuniteitsovereenkomsten met de Verenigde Staten hebben gesloten die strijdig zijn met de EU-richtsnoeren betreffende afspraken tussen een staat die partij bij het Statuut van Rome inzake het Internationaal Strafhof is en de Verenigde Staten, met betrekking tot de voorwaarden voor de uitlevering van personen aan het Hof [7].
