The Council heard a presentation by the Commission on its proposal relating to the safety of blood products in all its aspects (collection, distribution, use, etc.) Such a proposal comes in response to an increasing need arising from the mobility of people who should they require treatment - wish to find the maximum level of safety wherever they go.
