As regards international environmental governance, welcomes the cooperation of the US and the EU to make progress under the Montreal Protocol to address the climate impact of HFCs; calls in the context of Rio +20 summit on both parties to come forward with concrete proposals for innovative sources of finance to support action in developing countries to achieve the aims of the Rio Conventions, in particular as regards climate and biodiversity protection, the adaptation to inevitable climate change, and the conversion towards green economies;
