TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Article 20 of Directive 2003/87/EC requires that an independent transaction log, the European Union Transaction Log (EUTL) is established to record the issue, transfer and cancellation of allowances. Article 6(2) of Decision No 280/2004/EC requires that information on the issue, holding, transfer, acquisition, cancellation and withdrawal of assigned amount units, removal units, emission reduction units and certified emission reductions and the carryover of assigned amount units, emission reduction units and certified emission reductions is made available to the transaction log.
Bij deze verordening worden algemene, operationele en onderhoudsvoorschriften met betrekking tot het EU-register voor de op 1 januari 2013 beginnende en de daaropvolgende handelsperioden, het onafhankelijke transactielogboek als bedoeld in artikel 20, lid 1, van Richtlijn 2003/87/EG en de registers als bedoeld in artikel 6 van Beschikking nr. 280/2004/EG vastgesteld.

The Community and its Member States shall establish and maintain registries in order to ensure the accurate accounting of the issue, holding, transfer, acquisition, cancellation and withdrawal of assigned amount units, removal units, emission reduction units and certified emission reductions and the carryover of assigned amount units, emission reduction units and certified emission reductions.

Member States shall, following the completion of the review of their national inventories under the Kyoto Protocol for each year of the Kyoto Protocol's first commitment period, including the resolution of any questions of implementation, forthwith withdraw assigned amount units, removal units, emission reduction units and certified emission reductions equivalent to their net emissions during that year.

(8) In accordance with part II, section A, of the Annex to Decision 19/CP.7 of the Conference of the Parties, each Party to the Kyoto Protocol included in Annex I to the UNFCCC is required to establish and maintain a national registry in order to ensure the accurate accounting of the issue, holding, transfer, cancellation and withdrawal of emission reduction units, certified emission reductions, assigned amount units and removal units.
(8) Overeenkomstig deel II, onderdeel A, van de bijlage bij Besluit 19/CP.7 van de Conferentie der partijen is elke in bijlage I van het UNFCCC opgenomen partij bij het Protocol van Kyoto ertoe gehouden een nationaal register in te stellen en bij te houden om te garanderen dat een nauwkeurige boekhouding wordt gevoerd van verlening, bezit, overdracht, annulering en afboeking van emissiereductie-eenheden (ERU), gecertificeerde emissiereducties (CER), toegewezen eenheden (AAU) en verwijderingseenheden (RMU).
