Communities of practitioners at EU level have proven to be solid solutions for exchanging good practices and for peer support, as shown by the massive engagement of teachers in the e-Twinning[16] platform, with more than 200.000 registered users, in SCIENTIX, the community for science education in Europe[17], and in Open Discovery Space[18].
