Commission Regulation (EC) No 3168/94 of 21 December 1994 establishing in the field of application of Council Regulation (EC) No 517/94 on common rules for imports of textile products from third countries not covered by bilateral agreements, protocols or other arrangements or by other specific Community import rules a Community import licence (OJ L 335, 23.12.1994, p. 23).

3. Imports referred to in paragraph 2, with the exception of imports for transit through the customs territory of the Community or imports under the temporary storage, customs warehousing or free zone procedure as referred to in Regulation (EC) No 450/2008, provided that they remain in the customs territory of the Community no longer than 45 days and that they are not subsequently presented for release for free circulation in the Community, destroyed or processed, shall be subject to the presentation of an import licence.

De in lid 2 bedoelde invoer, met uitzondering van de invoer voor doorvoer door het douanegebied van de Gemeenschap of de invoer in het kader van de regeling tijdelijke opslag, douane-entrepot of vrije zone als bedoeld in Verordening (EG) nr. 450/2008, op voorwaarde dat zij niet langer dan 45 dagen in het douanegebied van de Gemeenschap blijven en achteraf niet in de Gemeenschap in het vrije verkeer worden gebracht of worden vernietigd of verwerkt, is onderworpen aan de voorlegging van een invoervergunning.

3. Imports referred to in paragraph 2, with the exception of imports for temporary storage as referred to in Regulation (EC) No 450/2008, including transhipment, or for transit through the Community, shall be subject to the presentation of an import licence.
3. De in lid 2 bedoelde invoer, met uitzondering van de invoer voor tijdelijke opslag als bedoeld in Verordening (EG) nr. 450/2008, met inbegrip van overlading, of voor doorvoer door de Gemeenschap, is onderworpen aan de voorlegging van een invoervergunning.

1. Without prejudice to cases where import licences are required in accordance with this Regulation, the Commission may make imports of one or more products of the following sectors into the Community subject to presentation of an import licence
1. Onverminderd de gevallen waarin op grond van deze verordening invoercertificaten moeten worden overgelegd, kan de Commissie invoercertificaten verplicht stellen voor invoer van een of meer producten van de volgende sectoren in de Gemeenschap:

Where the quantities for which import licences have been issued exceed the quantities of deliveries actually recorded in the previous delivery periods, without prejudice to the results of the investigations to be carried out by the competent authorities, the nominal quantities of the licences for which it has not been possible to establish the actual import into the Community shall be added to the quantities referred to in point (a) of the first subparagraph.
