Therefore, it is appropriate to add ‘HR’ to identify Croatia as a Member State of intended destination in the standardised serial number attached to each export licence or equivalent document and add the name and contact details of the Croatian national authority to the list of competent national authorities in charge of implementation of Regulation (EC) No 1340/2008.

Welcomes the overall progress achieved in the field of refugee return and stresses the utmost importance of the return and reintegration of refugees, including the reconstruction and repossession of housing, the challenging implementation of housing programmes for former holders of tenancy rights and the steps to be taken to resolve the issue of validation of pension rights; takes note of the fact that Croatia's implementation of its 2009 housing programme is still at an early stage owing to the effects of the global economic crisis and to budget restrictions, and that the programme will need to continue in 2010 and perhaps beyond, requiring a sustained commitment on the part of the competent authorities; stresses that it is of the utmost importance to create conditions for sustainability in the areas of return; invites the Croatian Government to align its immigration and asylum policies with EU standards;

Apart from this, divergences between Croatian law and the acquis for the banking sector appear to be mainly of a technical nature, covering issues such as co-operation between supervisory authorities, exchange of information between Croatian competent authorities, minimum capital requirements and the adaptation or the introduction of some legal definitions in Croatia's national law.
Afgezien hiervan lijken de meeste verschillen tussen de Kroatische wet en het acquis inzake het bankwezen van technische aard te zijn.
