In 1991, it also provided following special post cyclone rehabilitation assistance : funds for the construction of approximately 200 Primary Schools-cum-Cyclone Shelters (10 MECU), 16 MECU to import cement in order to support post-cyclone reconstruction activities, 60 000 T of wheat for reconstruction of infrastructure (8.4 MECU), technical assistance in support of repair and construction of coastal embankments (2.5 MECU), rehabilitation of port facilities (2.9 MECU) and livestock grants to affected families (1.7 MECU).
In 1991 heeft zij ook de volgende speciale hulp voor herstel na de wervelstorm verstrekt : middelen voor de bouw van ongeveer 200 lagere scholen met schuilplaatsen tegen wervelstormen (10 miljoen ecu), 16 miljoen ecu voor de invoer van cement voor de wederopbouw na de wervelstorm, 60.000 ton tarwe, herstel van infrastructuur (8,4 miljoen ecu), technische bijstand bij het herstel en de aanleg van kustwallen (2,5 miljoen ecu), herstel van havenvoorzieningen (2,9 miljoen ecu) en veeteelttoelagen aan getroffen gezinnen (1,7 miljoen ecu).
