The application concerns the authorisation of a new use of the preparation of Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 10415 as a feed additive for chickens reared for laying, minor poultry species for fattening and minor poultry species reared for laying, to be classified in the additive category ‘zootechnical additives’ and the modification of the terms of the current authorisation for chickens for fattening to allow simultaneous use with the additional coccidiostats lasalocid A sodium, maduramycin ammonium, narasin, narasin/nicarbazin and salinomycin sodium.
De aanvraag betreft de verlening van een vergunning voor een nieuwe toepassing van het preparaat van Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 10415 als toevoegingsmiddel voor diervoeding voor opfokleghennen en voor minder gangbare pluimveesoorten gehouden voor mest- en legdoeleinden in de categorie „zoötechnische toevoegingsmiddelen”, evenals de wijziging van de voorwaarden van de vergunning voor mestkippen zodat een gelijktijdig gebruik met de aanvullende coccidiostatica lasalocide A natrium, maduramicineammonium, narasin, narasin/nicarbazine en salinomycine-natrium mogelijk wordt.
