TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

The European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (Cenelec) and European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), hereafter referred as the ESOs (European standardisation organisations), are requested to draft new European standards and European standardisation deliverables in support of the implementation of Article 8 of Directive 2010/40/EU for multimodal information, traffic management and urban logistics in the urban ITS domain.
Het Europees Comité voor Normalisatie (CEN), het Europees Comité voor Elektrotechnische Normalisatie (Cenelec) en het Europees Instituut voor Telecommunicatienormen (ETSI), hierna de Europese normalisatie-instellingen genoemd, wordt verzocht ter ondersteuning van de uitvoering van artikel 8 van Richtlijn 2010/40/EU nieuwe Europese normen en Europese normalisatieproducten te ontwikkelen voor multimodale informatie, verkeersbeheer en stedelijke logistiek op het gebied van stedelijke ITS.

This Decision is addressed to the European Committee for Standardisation, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation and European Telecommunications Standards Institute.

European standard' means a standard adopted by the European Committee for Standardisation, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation or the European Telecommunications Standards Institute and made available for public use;
Europese norm', een door het Europees Comité voor normalisatie, het Europees Comité voor elektrotechnische normalisatie of het Europees Instituut voor telecommunicatienormen goedgekeurde en voor publiek gebruik ter beschikking gestelde norm;

(3) The European standardisation system should continue to be run by and for stakeholders in line with the principles of cohesion, transparency, openness, consensus, independence from special interests, market adequacy, effectiveness and national representation in the decision-making process, and European standards should continue to be adopted by the European standardisation organisations, namely the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (CENELEC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

(3) European standards should continue to be adopted by the European standardisation bodies, namely European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (CENELEC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

European standardisation is organised by and for the stakeholders concerned based on national representation (the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (Cenelec)) and direct participation (the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)), and is founded on the principles recognised by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in the field of standardisation, namely coherence, transparency, openness, consensus, voluntary application, independence from special interests and efficiency (‘the founding principles’).

Recognises that European standardisation helps create a level playing-field for all market actors, especially for SMEs which are vital contributors; acknowledges also, however, that the complexity of standards, participation in developing standards and cost of standards can represent an obstacle to SMEs; welcomes and encourages the measures proposed in the SME programmes of the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (Cenelec) to facilitate the use of standards by SMEs;

These standardisation products are drawn up by the European Committee for Standardisation, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, bodies listed in Annex I to Directive 98/34/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 June 1998 laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations and of rules on Information Society services (3) (hereinafter European standardisation bodies).
Deze normalisatieproducten worden opgesteld door het Europees Comité voor normalisatie (CEN), het Europees Comité voor elektrotechnische normalisatie (Cenelec) en het Europees Normalisatie-instituut voor telecommunicatie (ETSI), instellingen die worden genoemd in bijlage I bij Richtlijn 98/34/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 22 juni 1998 betreffende een informatieprocedure op het gebied van normen en technische voorschriften en regels betreffende de diensten van de informatiemaatschappij (3) (hierna „Europese normalisatie-instellingen” genoemd).
