The action of the European Youth Forum, the National Academic Recognition Information Centres (NARIC), the Eurydice, Euroguidance and Eurodesk networks, the eTwinning National Support Services, the National Europass Centres, and the National Information Offices in the neighbourhood countries is essential in order to achieve the objectives of the Programme, in particular by providing the Commission with regular, updated information regarding their various fields of activity and through the dissemination of the Programme results in the Union and in the partner countries.
De actie van het Europees Jeugdforum, de nationale informatiecentra voor academische erkenning (Naric's), de netwerken Eurydice, Euroguidance en Eurodesk alsmede de nationale ondersteuningscentra voor de eTwinning-actie, de nationale Europass-centra en de nationale informatiekantoren in de nabuurschapslanden is van essentieel belang om de doelstellingen van het programma te verwezenlijken, met name door de Commissie te voorzien van regelmatige en bijgewerkte informatie over de verschillende gebieden van hun activiteit en door de verspreiding van de programmaresultaten in de Unie en in de partnerlanden.

Set up in 2009, as an initiative of the Council and the Commission to address the growing threat of trade in counterfeit and pirated goods, the European Observatory on Counterfeiting and Piracy became a centre of expertise for gathering, monitoring and reporting information and data related to intellectual property rights (IPRs) infringements and a platform for cooperation between representatives from national authorities and stakeholders to exchange ideas on best practices in view of developing enforcement strategies in terms of IPR. Since the conception of the Observatory, further responsibilities were added to its competencies by the Council on needs for implementation of EU training programmes for partners involved in combating counterfeiting and piracy, and by the European Parliament calling for compilation of scientific research data on counterfeiting and IPR regulation.
Het Europees Waarnemingscentrum voor namaak en piraterij, opgericht in 2009 op initiatief van de Raad en de Commissie ter bestrijding van de toenemende dreiging van handel in nagemaakte of door piraterij verkregen goederen, is een expertisecentrum geworden voor het verzamelen, monitoren en rapporteren van informatie en gegevens over inbreuken op intellectuele-eigendomsrechten (IER) en een platform voor samenwerking tussen vertegenwoordigers van nationale overheden en belanghebbende partijen om ideeën uit te wisselen over beste praktijken om handhavingstrategieën te ontwikkelen in termen van IER. When the Mechanism is activated, the Monitoring and Information Centre (MIC) of the European Commission which is the operational centre of the Mechanism gives access to a wide network of civil protection resources available from the 31 participating countries (Member States, EEA countries and Croatia), which allows for pooling and mobilisation of resources (e.g. transport means, medical assistance and evacuation, temporary shelter, etc.) and for exchange of information.
