National and regional authorities should consider, in particular, how EU Regional Policy can contribute to the 2015 objective of the Innovation Union flagship of completing or initiating 60% of the research infrastructure currently identified by the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI).

More ambitious cooperation and better coordination within the European strategy for the Atlantic region could, in this respect, try to cover a more ambitious agenda, since voluntary, practical cooperation on common issues could significantly help in strengthening trans-Atlantic relations.
Middels ambitieuzere samenwerking en een betere coördinatie in het kader van de EU-strategie voor de Atlantische regio zou kunnen worden gepoogd te werken aan een ambitieuzere agenda. Per slot van rekening zouden de trans-Atlantische betrekkingen met vrijwillige praktische samenwerking ten aanzien van gemeenschappelijke onderwerpen verregaand kunnen worden verbeterd.

This strategy will be coherent with the other Community's strategies and in particular with the European Strategy for Sustainable Development [3] and the conclusions of the Göteborg European Council of 15/16 June 2001.
Deze strategie moet in samenhang zijn met de overige strategieën van de Gemeenschap en in het bijzonder met de strategie van de Europese Unie voor duurzame ontwikkeling [3] en met de conclusies van de Europese Raad van Göteborg van 15 en 16 juni 2001.
