TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 2342/2002 should be adapted to take into account the double role of the head of delegation as authorising officer by subdelegation for the European External Action Service (hereinafter ‘EEAS’) and, as regards operational appropriations, for the Commission.
Verordening (EG, Euratom) nr. 2342/2002 moet worden aangepast in verband met de dubbele bevoegdheid van de hoofden van delegaties als gesubdelegeerd ordonnateur voor de Europese Dienst voor extern optreden (hierna de „EDEO” genoemd) en, wat de beleidskredieten betreft, voor de Commissie.

There are currently around 2 300 such contract agents working for the Commission around the world, mainly in delegations, representations and administrative offices.

Is most worried that inadequate information to partner countries in the external programmes, and to Authorising Officers in the external delegations, could have a negative effect on implementation and work against the efficiency gains expected from the reform process and deconcentration; fears that a lack of timely information to partner countries might jeopardise significant amounts of ongoing programmes, especially in connection with Article 77 of the Financial Regulation;

The Member of the Commission responsible for security matters shall take appropriate measures to ensure that, when handling EU classified information, the rules referred to in Article 1 are respected within the Commission by Commission officials and other servants, by personnel seconded to the Commission, as well as within all Commission premises, including its Representations and Offices in the Union and its Delegations in third countries and by contractors external to the Commission.
