Insofar, CO2 has been successfully utilised for the production of urea, refrigerants, beverages, welding systems, fire extinguishers, water treatment processes, horticulture, precipitated calcium carbonate for the paper industry, as an inert agent for food packaging and many other smaller-scale applications[20].
Tot dusverre is CO2 met succes gebruikt voor de productie van ureum, koelmiddelen, dranken, lassystemen, brandblussers, waterbehandelingsprocessen, tuinbouw, neergeslagen calciumcarbonaat voor de papierindustrie, voor gebruik als een inert agens voor de verpakking van voedsel en vele andere kleinschaliger toepassingen[20].
