The Financial Conglomerates Committee shall consult the relevant European financial services industry representative bodies prior to delivering its opinion.

1. The Commission shall be assisted by a Financial Conglomerates Committee, hereinafter referred to as the "Committee".

7. The co-ordinator shall monitor closely the application of rules on intra-group transactions and risk concentration within financial conglomerates, and shall report on a regular basis thereon to the Financial Conglomerates Committee referred to in Article 17.

3. The Commission shall inform the public of any proposal presented according to this Article and will formally consult the relevant European industry representative bodies prior to submitting to the Financial Conglomerates Committee referred to in Article 17 the draft of the measures to be taken.
