V. whereas the current situation has an impact on the economic and social life of all Burundians; whereas most schools and university campuses are closed because of violent demonstrations in the capital, Bujumbura, the local currency has depreciated, unemployment has increased and tax revenues have decreased, because of the closure of commercial centres and the slowdown of trade with neighbouring states;
V. overwegende dat de huidige situatie invloed heeft op het economische en sociale leven van alle Burundezen; overwegende dat de gewelddadige protesten in de hoofdstad Bujumbura tot sluiting van de meeste scholen en universiteiten hebben geleid en dat, vanwege de sluiting van handelscentra en de afzwakking van de handel met omliggende landen, de nationale munteenheid in waarde is verminderd, de werkloosheid is toegenomen en de belastinginkomsten zijn teruggelopen;

Draws attention to the dramatic social situation in the country; calls on the Ukrainian Government to fully disclose the strings attached to the agreement with the IMF, and calls for accompanying measures aimed at alleviating the current situation with regard, in particular, to the most vulnerable sections of the population; takes the view that the IMF conditions could increase internal tensions and lead to the rapid reduction of salaries and posts in public administration, which could result in an increase in corruption as a side-effect; points out that the risk of infectious diseases is on the rise in Ukraine, since the country is now facing a serious vaccine shortage due to delays in the state procurement process and price hikes in the wake of depreciation of the local currency;
23. vraagt aandacht voor de dramatische maatschappelijke situatie in het land; verzoekt de Oekraïense regering volledige openheid te geven over de voorwaarden die verbonden zijn aan de overeenkomst met het IMF en dringt aan op flankerende maatregelen om de huidige situatie met name voor de kwetsbaarste bevolkingsgroepen te verlichten; is van mening dat de IMF-voorwaarden de interne spanningen zouden kunnen doen toenemen en zouden kunnen leiden tot een snelle daling van de lonen en het aantal banen in de publieke sector, met een toename van de corruptie als mogelijk bijkomend effect; wijst erop dat het risico van infectieziekten in Oekraïne toeneemt omdat het land te kampen heeft met een ernstig tekort aan vaccins door vertragingen bij de openbare aanbestedingen en prijsstijgingen ten gevolge van de devaluatie van de lokale munt;

All these amounts shall be measured in 2011 prices and adjusted to current prices by applying the most recent GDP deflator for the EU expressed in euro, as provided by the Commission, which is available when the draft budget is drawn up.
Al deze bedragen worden uitgedrukt in prijzen van 2011 en omgerekend in actuele prijzen door toepassing van de door de Commissie meegedeelde, meest recente bbp-deflator voor de EU in euro die beschikbaar is bij de opstelling van de ontwerpbegroting.

The amounts were adjusted to current prices by applying the GDP deflator for the EU expressed in EUR, as provided by the Commission in the 2008 Spring Economic Forecast, i.e. that were available when the preliminary draft budget 2009 was drawn up.
De bedragen werden omgerekend in actuele prijzen door toepassing van de door de Commissie in het kader van de economische voorjaarsprognoses 2008 meegedeelde bbp-deflator voor de Europese Unie in euro, die dus bij de opstelling van het voorontwerp van begroting 2009 beschikbaar was.

For the purpose of this calculation, amounts in current prices shall be converted into 2004 prices by applying the latest available GDP deflator for the EU expressed in euro, as provided by the Commission.
