IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

The Convention contains two options that address this issue: an expedited mutual legal assistance procedure which requires individual requests for assistance to the Member State with the satellite ground station, and a technical solution based on remote access to the satellite ground station from the intercepting Member State which does not require individual requests.
De overeenkomst biedt daartoe twee mogelijkheden: een versnelde procedure voor wederzijdse rechtshulp waarin de lidstaat van het grondstation voor elk geval afzonderlijk om bijstand moet worden verzocht, en een technische oplossing op basis van toegang op afstand van de aftappende lidstaat tot het grondstation, waarvoor geen afzonderlijke verzoeken nodig zijn.

2. The Security Accreditation Board shall perform the tasks entrusted to the Agency with regard to security accreditation under Article 16(a)(i) of Regulation (EC) No 683/2008 and take ‘security accreditation decisions’ as provided for in the present Article, in particular on the approval of the security accreditation strategy and of satellite launches, the authorisation to operate the systems in their different configurations and for the various services, the authorisation to operate the ground stations and in particular the sensor stations located in third countries, as well as the authorisation to manufacture receivers containing PRS technology and their components.
2. De Raad voor de veiligheidsaccreditatie voert de aan het Agentschap toevertrouwde taken in verband met veiligheidsaccreditatie uit op grond van artikel 16, onder a), i), van Verordening (EG) nr. 683/2008 en neemt „veiligheidsaccreditatiebesluiten” als bedoeld in onderhavig artikel, met name wat betreft de goedkeuring van de veiligheidsaccreditatiestrategie en van satellietlanceringen, de machtiging om de systemen in hun diverse configuraties en voor de diverse diensten te exploiteren, de machtiging om de grondstations, en met name de in derde landen gevestigde sensorstations, te exploiteren, alsook wat betreft de machtiging om de ontvangers met PRS-technologie en de onderdelen daarvan te vervaardigen.

The location of such infrastructure should be determined by taking into account geographical and technical limitations associated with the optimum geographical distribution of the ground-based infrastructure and the possible presence of existing installations and equipment suitable for the relevant tasks, as well as by ensuring compliance with the security needs of each ground station and with the national security requirements of each Member State.

Notes the Commission replies on the progress made in implementing the Galileo project: four Galileo In-Orbit Validation (IOV) satellites were successfully launched in 2011 and 2012, the Galileo In-Orbit Validation phase was successfully concluded in 2014, the system design, the performance targets and the baseline for system operation were successfully confirmed, the ground infrastructure, with many ground stations worldwide, has been completed for the initial operations, the Galileo Search-and-Rescue capability of the IOV-satellites was successfully demonstrated, the launch of two satellites (no. 5 and 6) on 22 August 2014 resulted in an injection of these satellites into incorrect orbit, and since December 2014 the satellites have been gradually moved to a more favourable orbit to allow their best possible use, and the testing of the satellites' navigation payload is on-going; expects to be informed about additional costs for these unforeseen measures;

The Board shall perform the tasks entrusted to the Agency with regard to security accreditation under Article 16(a)(i) of Regulation (EC) No 683/2008 and take "security accreditation decisions" as provided for in the present Article, in particular on the approval of the security accreditation strategy and of satellite launches, the authorisation to operate the systems in their different configurations and for the various services, the authorisation to operate the ground stations and in particular the sensor stations located in third States, as well as the authorisation to manufacture the receivers containing PRS technology and their components.

Het Orgaan voert de aan het Agentschap toevertrouwde taken in verband met veiligheidsaccreditatie uit op grond van artikel 16, punt a), onder i), van Verordening (EG) nr. 683/2008 en het neemt "veiligheidsaccreditatiebesluiten" als bedoeld in dit artikel, met name wat betreft de goedkeuring van de veiligheidsaccreditatiestrategie en van satellietlanceringen, de machtiging om de systemen in hun diverse configuraties en voor de diverse diensten te exploiteren, de machtiging om de grondstations, en met name de in derde staten gevestigde sensorstations, te exploiteren, alsook wat betreft de machtiging om de ontvangers met PRS-technologie en de onderdelen daarvan te vervaardigen.
