I wish to emphasise how constructive it is that, in her report, Mrs Riis-Jørgensen has also included a proposal for having tax incentives for new types of vehicle, for example hybrid cars or cars propelled by other fuels, as this would perhaps also lead to the motoring world being quicker to take increased account of the environment.
Ik wil benadrukken dat het heel goed is dat mevrouw Riis-Jørgensen in haar verslag ook een voorstel heeft opgenomen voor fiscale stimuleringsmaatregelen voor nieuwe typen voertuigen, zoals hybride auto’s of auto’s die op alternatieve brandstoffen rijden. Dat zal er immers wellicht ook toe leiden dat de auto-industrie haar inspanningen om auto’s milieuvriendelijker te maken, zal opvoeren.
