13. Calls on the Commission and the Member States, in their cooperation with Mexico and the countries of Central America, to give priority to the rebuilding and improvement of the region's legal and prison systems, promoting the exchange of good practices and the development of awareness-raising campaigns and mechanisms for protecting victims, witnesses and their relatives, especially in cases of denunciation of feminicides; considers that such cooperation could involve other participants, such as the International Labour Office andthe OECD, with a view, where appropriate, to developing programmes in order to ensure safety, decent working conditions and equal pay for women;
13. verzoekt de Commissie en de lidstaten om in het kader van hun samenwerking met Mexico en de landen van Midden-Amerika prioriteit te verlenen aan de reconstructie en versterking van het rechts- en strafstelsel van de regio, door de uitwisseling van goede praktijken te bevorderen, bewustmakingscampagnes te organiseren en beschermingsmechanismen in het leven te roepen voor slachtoffers, getuigen en familieleden, in het bijzonder wanneer het om de aangifte van vrouwenmoorden gaat; meent tevens dat bij deze samenwerking andere partijen zouden kunnen worden betrokken, zoals het Internationaal Arbeidsbureau en met name het OESO-contactpunt in Mexico, teneinde zonodig programma's op te stellen en mechanismen in het leven te roepen om vrouwen veiligheid, waardige arbeidsvoorwaarden en gelijke behandeling op het werk te garanderen;

In accordance with national law and relevant international instruments, Member States which do not have liaison officers in a third country or international organisation may make a request to another Member State which does have liaison officers in the third country or international organisation concerned, with a view to the exchange of relevant information.
