TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

16. Welcomes the actions that have been taken – in accordance with the recommendations of the steering group on relations with the national parliaments – since the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon to intensify cooperation between the national parliaments and the European Parliament, in particular as regards the planning of interparliamentary committee meetings, the increase in the number of such meetings (50 since 2010), the forwarding to members of the national parliaments and relevant political bodies of national parliament submissions (reasoned opinions and contributions), the introduction of videoconferences, the promotion of bilateral visits, technical improvements to the InterParliamentary EU information eXchange (IPEX), the increase in the number of collaborative projects carried out under the aegis of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation (ECPRD), visits by administrative officials and the exchange of information and of best practice; believes that these actions help to make interparliamentary relations more efficient and more focused, while contributing to parliamentary democratisation;
16. ziet een verheugende ontwikkeling in de acties die - ingevolge de aanbevelingen van de stuurgroep voor de betrekkingen met de nationale parlementen - zijn ondernomen sinds de inwerkingtreding van het Verdrag van Lissabon om de samenwerking tussen de nationale parlementen en het Europees Parlement te intensiveren, met name de planning en de toename van het aantal interparlementaire commissievergaderingen (50 sinds 2010), de informatieverstrekking aan leden en relevante politieke organen over door de nationale parlementen ingediende stukken (met redenen omklede adviezen en bijdragen), de invoering van visioconferenties, de bevordering van bilaterale bezoeken, technische verbeteringen in de interparlementaire EU-informatieuitwisseling (IPEX), de toename van de samenwerkingsprojecten onder de hoede van het Europees Centrum voor Parlementair Onderzoek en Documentatie (ECPRD), en bezoeken van beleidsambtenaren en uitwisseling van informatie en beste praktijken; is van oordeel dat deze acties bijdragen tot meer efficiëntie en gerichtheid in de interparlementaire betrekkingen en tegelijkertijd bijdragen aan parlementaire democratisering;

N. whereas following the establishment of the Interparliamentary Conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) and of the Interparliamentary Conference on Economic Governance, as well as the consolidation of the role of interparliamentary committee meetings as the preferred channel for cooperation, COSAC should remain the forum for a regular exchange of views, information and best practice regarding the practical aspects of parliamentary scrutiny, and focus in particular on discussing the general state of the integration process;
N. overwegende dat gezien de oprichting van de interparlementaire conferenties over het gemeenschappelijk buitenlands- en veiligheidsbeleid (GBVB) en het gemeenschappelijk veiligheids- en defensiebeleid (GVDB) en van de interparlementaire conferentie over het economisch bestuur en gezien de versterking van de sectorspecifieke interparlementaire bijeenkomsten op commissieniveau als voorkeursvorm voor samenwerking, de COSAC het gremium bij uitstek moet blijven voor een regelmatige uitwisseling van standpunten, informatie en beste praktijken voor wat betreft de praktische aspecten van de parlementaire controle, en zich met name moet richten op bespreking van de algemene stand van zaken rond het integratieproces;

M. overwegende dat gezien de oprichting van de interparlementaire conferenties over het gemeenschappelijk buitenlands- en veiligheidsbeleid (GBVB) en het gemeenschappelijk veiligheids- en defensiebeleid (GVDB) en van de interparlementaire conferentie over het economisch bestuur en gezien de versterking van de sectorspecifieke interparlementaire bijeenkomsten op commissieniveau als voorkeursvorm voor samenwerking, de COSAC het gremium bij uitstek moet blijven voor een regelmatige uitwisseling van standpunten, informatie en beste praktijken voor wat betreft de praktische aspecten van de parlementaire controle;

21. Commends the effectiveness of interparliamentary committee meetings and calls for closer cooperation between rapporteurs on specific legislative issues;
21. pleit voor de doeltreffendheid van interparlementaire commissievergaderingen en hoopt voorts dat de samenwerking op het gebied van deze specifieke wetgevingskwesties ook op rapporteursniveau wordt versterkt;
