29. Proposes the establishment of a joint parliamentary monitoring committee for each trade agreement (FTA), to act as a forum for exchanges of information and dialogue between MEPs and parliamentarians from the partner states; adds that these monitoring committees could also scrutinise the implementation of the chapter on sustainable development and the CSR clause and draw up recommendations for the FTA joint committee, in particular in the light of impact assessments and in cases where proven breaches of human rights, labour rights or environmental agreements occur;
29. stelt voor om voor elke vrijhandelsovereenkomst (FTA) een gemengd parlementair toezichtsubcomité in te stellen om te fungeren als een forum voor de uitwisseling van informatie en dialoog tussen de leden van het EP en parlementsleden uit de partnerlanden; voegt hieraan toe dat dergelijke FTA-toezichtsubcomités ook kunnen toezien op de tenuitvoerlegging van de bepalingen inzake duurzame ontwikkeling en de MVO-clausule en aanbevelingen voor het gemengde FTA-comité kunnen opstellen, inzonderheid met betrekking tot effectbeoordelingen en voor gevallen waarbij sprake is van bewezen inbreuken op mensenrechten, sociale rechten of milieuovereenkomsten;

4. The Joint Customs Cooperation Committee will where appropriate, keep informed the Joint Commission set up under Article 15 of the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the European Economic Community and the People’s Republic of China of activities going on under this Agreement.
4. Het Gemengd Comité douanesamenwerking brengt in voorkomend geval verslag uit over activiteiten op grond van deze overeenkomst aan de Gemengde Commissie die is ingesteld bij artikel 15 van de Overeenkomst inzake Handel en Economische Samenwerking tussen de Europese Economische Gemeenschap en de Volksrepubliek China.

3. In respect of questions relating to the applicability of this Agreement, the Contracting Parties shall consult each other to resolve the matter in the framework of the Joint Customs Cooperation Committee set up under Article 21 of this Agreement.
3. De overeenkomstsluitende partijen raadplegen elkaar over alle vraagstukken in verband met de toepasselijkheid van deze overeenkomst en trachten hiervoor een oplossing te vinden in het bij artikel 21 van deze overeenkomst ingestelde Gemengd Comité douanesamenwerking.

4. The Joint Customs Cooperation Committee will report annually to the Joint Commission set up under Article 22 of the Cooperation agreement between the European Community and the Republic of India on Partnership and Development.
4. Het Gemengd Comité douanesamenwerking zal jaarlijks verslag uitbrengen aan de Gemengde Commissie die is ingesteld bij artikel 22 van de Samenwerkingsovereenkomst tussen de Europese Gemeenschap en de Republiek India inzake partnerschap en ontwikkeling.
