The ESA ‘European Space Education Resource Office’ (ESERO) project is already working with educational experts in several Member States to supply the specific educational needs of the region concerned and to get easy access to the already-existing national networks.

This action shall also support development, capacity-building, regional integration, knowledge exchanges and modernisation processes through international partnerships between higher education institutions in the Union and in partner countries, in particular for peer learning and joint education projects, as well as through the promotion of regional cooperation and National Information Offices, in particular with neighbourhood countries.

Met deze actie wordt tevens steun verleend voor processen voor ontwikkeling, capaciteitsopbouw, regionale integratie, kennisuitwisseling en modernisering door middel van internationale partnerschappen tussen instellingen voor hoger onderwijs in de Unie en in partnerlanden, met name voor projecten voor peer learning en gezamenlijke onderwijsprojecten, alsook door bevordering van regionale samenwerking en nationale informatiekantoren, vooral met nabuurschapslanden.

2. Member States shall ensure that activities such as employment-related education opportunities for adults, vocational training, including training courses for upgrading skills, practical workplace experience and counselling services afforded by employment offices, are offered to beneficiaries of international protection, under equivalent conditions as nationals.

De lidstaten zorgen ervoor dat personen die internationale bescherming genieten onder vergelijkbare voorwaarden als voor de eigen onderdanen gelden, toegang krijgen tot voorzieningen zoals het werkgebonden onderwijsaanbod voor volwassenen, beroepsopleiding, met inbegrip van bijscholing, praktische werkervaring op de arbeidsplaats en begeleiding van arbeidsbemiddelingsbureaus.

In implementing this action, close cooperation will be ensured in particular with the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat), the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop), the European Training Foundation (ETF) and appropriate international organisations, notably the Council of Europe, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

Bij de tenuitvoerlegging van deze actie zal in het bijzonder nauw worden samengewerkt met het Bureau voor de statistiek van de Europese Gemeenschappen (Eurostat), het Europees Centrum voor de ontwikkeling van de beroepsopleiding (Cedefop), de Europese Stichting voor opleiding (ETF) en de internationale organisaties die op dit gebied actief zijn, met name de Raad van Europa, de Organisatie voor Economische Samenwerking en Ontwikkeling (OESO) en de Organisatie van de Verenigde Naties voor Onderwijs, Wetenschap en Cultuur (Unesco).

EU electoral support has also involved a broad range of activities such as voter registration, civic education, assistance to national electoral commissions, drafting of electoral laws, training of election officers and national observers, media support and monitoring and support for the participation of minorities.
