(10b) The Union's support for cooperation on health technology assessment in accordance with Article 15 of Directive 2011/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 on the application of patients' rights in cross-border healthcare aims to optimise and coordinate health technology assessment methodologies which should ultimately also reduce delays in pricing and reimbursement processes of medicinal products for which Member States use health technology assessment as part of their decision-making process.
