The meeting took place within the framework of the ongoing dialogue with churches, religious, philosophical and non-confessional organisations as enshrined in the Lisbon Treaty (Art 17 TFEU) and followed an annual meeting with philosophical and non-confessional organisations, which took place on 30 June 2016.

Any transfer of personal data which are undergoing processing or are intended for processing after transfer to a third country or to an international organisation shall take place only if, subject to the other provisions of this Regulation, the conditions laid down in this Chapter are complied with by the controller and processor, including for onward transfers of personal data from the third country or an international organisation to another third country or to another international organisation.

1. Member States shall provide for any transfer by competent authorities of personal data which are undergoing processing or are intended for processing after transfer to a third country or to an international organisation including for onward transfers to another third country or international organisation to take place, subject to compliance with the national provisions adopted pursuant to other provisions of this Directive, only where the conditions laid down in this Chapter are met, namely:
1. Member States shall provide that a transfer of personal data to a third country or an international organisation may take place where the Commission has decided that the third country, a territory or one or more specified sectors within that third country, or the international organisation in question ensures an adequate level of protection.

1. A transfer of personal data to a third country or an international organisation may take place where the Commission has decided that the third country, a territory or one or more specified sectors within that third country, or the international organisation in question ensures an adequate level of protection.

Member States shall furthermore ensure that adequate mechanisms are in place to ensure that no misleading practices from traders or organisers are in place, in particular creating an expectation on the part of consumer of rights and guarantees that are not provided for in the relevant contract.
Voorts zorgen de lidstaten ervoor dat er geschikte mechanismen worden opgezet om te voorkomen dat handelaars of organisatoren zich schuldig maken aan misleidende praktijken, met name het wekken van de verwachting bij de consument dat hij rechten en garanties heeft waarin niet wordt voorzien in de betreffende overeenkomst.

2. Member States shall ensure that collective management organisations put in place and apply procedures to avoid conflicts of interest, and where such conflicts cannot be avoided, to identify, manage, monitor and disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest in such a way as to prevent them from adversely affecting the collective interests of the rightholders whom the organisation represents .

De lidstaten zien erop toe dat collectieve beheersorganisaties procedures invoeren en toepassen ter vermijding van belangenconflicten en, daar waar die niet vermeden kunnen worden, om feitelijke of potentiële belangenconflicten te identificeren, te beheren, te bewaken en bekend te maken op een zodanige wijze dat voorkomen wordt dat deze de gezamenlijke belangen van de rechthebbenden die de organisatie vertegenwoordigt, schaden.

1. Member States shall ensure that each collective management organisation has in place a supervisory function for continuously monitoring the activities and the performance of the duties of the persons who manage the business of the organisation .
