The standard diesel bench ageing durability procedure consists of ageing an aftertreatment system on an ageing bench which follows the standard bench cycle (SDBC) described in this Appendix. The SDBC requires use of an ageing bench with an engine as the source of feed gas for the system.
Bij de gewone procedure voor het testen van de duurzaamheid van dieselmotoren op een testbank wordt een nabehandelingssysteem verouderd op een verouderingstestbank die de in dit aanhangsel beschreven gewone testbankcyclus voor diesel (SDBC) volgt. Voor de SDBC is een verouderingstestbank vereist met een motor als bron van gas voor het systeem.
