STATE AID/FRANCE Aid No C 8/94 (ex NN 31/93) NN 61/94 Firstly, following initiation of the procedure laid down in Article 93(2) of the EC Treaty (OJ No C 107 of 15 April 1994, p.2) in respect of the aid scheme operated by Stabiporc for pig producer groups using funds provided in the form of reduced-interest loans totalling FF 60 million (around ECU 9 million) by Ofival (Office national interprofessionnelle des viandes, de l'élevage et de l'aviculture), the Commission has decided to ask France to discontinue this aid and to require reimbursement of aid illegally received.

C 107 van 15 april 1994, blz. 2) tegen de door STABIPORC ingestelde steunmaatregel voor de organisaties van varkenshouders, bekostigd uit leningen met verlaagde rente van 60 mln FF (ongeveer 9 mln ecu), van het Office national interprofessionnel des viandes, de l'élevage et de l'aviculture (OFIVAL), heeft de Commissie besloten Frankrijk te verzoeken dergelijke steun in de toekomst niet meer te verlenen en de onwettig toegekende steun terug te vorderen.

Secondly, as a result of information from the French authorities, the Commission has decided to initiate the procedure laid down in Article 93(2) of the EC Treaty in respect of a State guarantee on loans granted to pig producers from private funds via Stabiporc.
Naar aanleiding van door de Franse autoriteiten medegedeelde gegevens heeft de Commissie voorts besloten de procedure van artikel 93, lid 2, van het EG-Verdrag in te leiden tegen een staatsgarantie op de leningen aan varkenshouders, via STABIPORC, uit privé-fondsen.

STATE AIDS / FRANCE Aid scheme No C 36/94 The Commission has decided to adopt a final negative decision under Articles 92 and 93 of the Treaty with regard to state guarantees on loans to pig producers through the STABIPORC fund based on private resources.
STEUNMAATREGELEN VAN DE STATEN/FRANKRIJK Steunmaatregel nr. C36/94 De Commissie heeft op grond van de artikelen 92 en 93 van het Verdrag een negatieve eindbeschikking gegeven ten aanzien van een staatsgarantie voor, via STABIPORC, uit particuliere fondsen toegekende leningen aan varkenshouders.

The procedure provided for in Article 93(2) of the Treaty was initiated in July 1994 (OJ No L 335, 23.12.1994, p.82) with regard to this aid scheme because the interest-rate reductions from which the pig producers benefit when advanced funds by STABIPORC from private resources are based on the existence of a state guarantee from the Office national interprofessionel des viandes, de l'élevage et de l'aviculture (OFIVAL - National Bureau for the Meat, Livestock and Poultry Trade) backing these resources.
Tegen deze maatregel is in juli 1994 de procedure van artikel 93, lid 2, van het Verdrag ingeleid (PB L 335 van 23.12.1994, blz. 82) aangezien de verlaagde rente op de door STABIPORC uit particuliere fondsen toegekende voorschotten aan de varkenshouders voortvloeit uit de staatsgarantie die via OFIVAL (nationale dienst van het bedrijfsleven in de sectoren vlees, veehouderij en pluimveehouderij) voor die fondsen wordt verleend.
