After adoption of the requested European standards and European standardisation deliverables the list of syntaxes and related mappings given in those deliverables shall be reviewed by the ESOs at least once every 2 years with a view to ensuring that they reflect the most recent technological developments and includes best-of-class syntaxes.

In order to facilitate and accelerate implementation by Member States, the relevant European standardisation organisation should be requested to provide appropriate syntax bindings from the European standard on electronic invoicing to all syntaxes identified in the list.
