In spite of the dramatic nature of the experience, the patient is aware of the unreality of the change. The sensorium is normal and the capacity for emotional expression intact. Depersonalization-derealization symptoms may occur as part of a diagnosable schizophrenic, depressive, phobic, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. In such cases the diagnosis should be that of the main disorder.

3. 2. If the requested competent law enforcement authority is unable to respond within eight hours, it shall provide reasons for that on the form set out in Annex A. Where the provision of the information or intelligence requested within the period of eight hours would put a disproportionate burden on the requested law enforcement authority, it may postpone the provision of the information or intelligence.

11. Without prejudice to the law on the protection of industrial and commercial property, medicinal products for human use which have been authorised in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation shall benefit from an eight-year period of data protection and a ten-year period of marketing protection, in which connection the latter period shall be extended to a maximum of 11 years if, during the first eight years of those ten years, the marketing authorisation holder obtains an authorisation for one or more new therapeutic indications which, during the scientific evaluation prior to their authorisation, are held to bring a significant clinical benefit in comparison with existing therapies.
11. Voor geneesmiddelen voor menselijk gebruik waarvoor overeenkomstig de bepalingen van deze verordening een vergunning is verleend, gelden onverminderd de wettelijke bepalingen inzake de bescherming van de industriële en commerciële eigendom een termijn van 8 jaar voor de bescherming van gegevens en een beschermingstermijn van tien jaar met betrekking tot het in de handel brengen, welke laatste termijn wordt verlengd tot maximaal 11 jaar indien in de eerste acht van genoemde tien jaar de houder van de vergunning voor het in de handel brengen een vergunning voor een of meer nieuwe therapeutische indicaties verkrijgt die, volgens de aan het verlenen van de vergunning voorafgaande wetenschappelijke beoordeling, een significant klinisch voordeel zullen bieden in vergelijking tot bestaande therapieën.
