31. is ervan overtuigd dat beginnende bestuurders beter moeten worden voorgelicht over de rol van banden in de verkeersveiligheid en de noodzaak om basisregels in acht te nemen met betrekking tot correct onderhoud en gebruik van banden; dringt derhalve bij de lidstaten aan op een goede en tijdige tenuitvoerlegging van de rijbewijsrichtlijn en de daarin opgenomen bepalingen met betrekking tot de verplichte opname in rijexamens van een onderdeel over de kennis van banden en elementair voertuigonderhoud in het algemeen;
