Le fébuxostat ne peut pas être considéré simplement comme une alternative sûre à l’allopurinol chez les patients ayant des antécédents de réactions d’hypersensibilité à l’allopurinol.
Febuxostat kan niet zomaar als een veilig alternatief voor allopurinol beschouwd worden bij patiënten met antecedenten van overgevoeligheidsreacties op allopurinol.

L’expérience avec le fébuxostat chez de tels patients est cependant limitée, et les patients présentant une intolérance sévère à l’allopurinol étaient exclus des études comparatives entre le fébuxostat et l’allopurinol.
De ervaring met febuxostat bij dergelijke patiënten is echter gering, en in de vergelijkende studies tussen febuxostat en allopurinol waren patiënten met ernstige intolerantie voor allopurinol uitgesloten.

Dans certains cas, elle survient chez des patients avec des antécédents d’insuffisance rénale ou de réactions d’hypersensibilité à l’allopurinol.

Le fébuxostat est indiqué dans le traitement de l’hyperuricémie chronique (et remboursé en cas d’intolérance, de contre-indication ou d’inefficacité de l’allopurinol).
Febuxostat is geïndiceerd voor de behandeling van chronisch hyperuricemie (en terugbetaald bij intolerantie, contra-indicatie of inefficiëntie van allopurinol).
