Comme LUMIGAN 0,1 mg/ml contient 200 ppm de chlorure de benzalkonium (quatre fois la concentration du collyre contenant 0,3 mg/ml de bimatoprost), il doit être utilisé avec précaution chez les patients présentant une sécheresse oculaire, chez les patients présentant une atteinte cornéenne et/ou chez les patients prenant plusieurs collyres contenant du chlorure de benzalkonium.
Aangezien LUMIGAN 0,1 mg/ml 200 ppm benzalkoniumchloride (viermaal de concentratie in bimatoprost 0,3 mg/ml oogdruppels) bevat, dient het met voorzichtigheid te worden gebruikt bij patiënten met droge ogen, patiënten bij wie de cornea gecompromitteerd kan zijn en bij patiënten die meerdere oogdruppels die BAK bevatten, gebruiken.
