Comme avec tout les AINS, y compris le diclofénac, une surveillance médicale étroite est impérative et il faut faire preuve d’une prudence particulière lors de la prescription du Diclofenac Retard Mylan à des patients présentant des symptômes indiquant des troubles gastro-intestinaux (GI) ou ayant des antécédents suggestifs d’ulcération, d’hémorragie ou deperforation gastro-intestinale (voir « Effets indésirables »).
Zoals bij alle NSAID’s, met inbegrip van diclofenac, is een strenge medische bewaking noodzakelijk en de nodige voorzichtigheid moet vooral in acht genomen te worden als Diclofenac Retard Mylan wordt voorgeschreven aan patiënten met symptomen die wijzen op gastro-intestinale aandoeningen of met een voorgeschiedenis die wijst op gastro-intestinale ulceratie, bloeding of perforatie (zie ”Bijwerkingen”).
