Nécessité de NAT-HBV Il ressort de la littérature actuellement disponible que l’exécution des tests NAT HIV, HCV et HBV est conseillée pour tous les tissus et cellules à l’exception des cornées.

3.3.2 Test NAT versus sérologie lors du don de sang Les tests sérologiques classiques permettent de reconnaître et d’exclure la majorité des donneurs potentiels contaminés par le HIV, HCV ou HBV. Il reste toutefois un groupe de donneurs infectés récemment et donc non détectables au moyen des tests sérologiques classiques (fenêtre sérologique avant séroconversion) mais aussi des donneurs infectés de manière chronique par HBV chez lesquels l’antigène (Ag) n’est plus détectable.
