Le groupe de travail “Hospital-Hôpital” de l'ex-Commission « Normes en matière de Télématique au service des Soins de Santé » estime que la gestion de l’information, de l’informatique et de la télématique doit être structurée dans l’hôpital.

Souvent, la plupart des sources, comme les ouvrages de référence ou les directives relatives à l’information pharmacothérapeutique (Martindale, British National Formulary, American Hospital Formulary System Drug Information, Drug Prescribing in Renal failure), ne fournissent pas d’avis appropriés concernant l’adaptation posologique des médicaments en cas d’altération de la fonction rénale.
Verschillende bronnen zoals standaardwerken of richtlijnen over farmacotherapeutische informatie (Martindale, British National Formulary, American Hospital Formulary System Drug Information, Drug Prescribing in Renal failure) geven dikwijls geen eensluidend advies aangaande het aanpassen van de dosering van geneesmiddelen bij verminderde nierfunctie.

Pour le volet enregistrement, il est fait usage du système « Hospital Information System » (HIS) qui est pourvu de sa propre gestion spécifique des utilisateurs et des accès pour régler les droits d’enregistrement au sein de l’hôpital.

Les données à caractère personnel en question seraient recueillies par les hôpitaux participants au moyen de leur « Hospital Information System » (HIS) et ensuite - après un double chiffrement réversible (voir infra) du « numéro d’identification local du patient » (NILP) en « numéro d’identification codé du patient » (NICP) - à l’aide d’un service web spécifique sécurisé (UREG) et sous la surveillance d’un médecin, ces données seraient mises à la disposition du Service public fédéral Santé publique, Sécurité de la chaîne alimentaire et Environnement, qui pourrait alors procéder à leur enregistrement dans la banque de données à caractère personnel (UREG) prévue à cet effet.
