N’ont pas été inclus les patients ayant une pathologie sous-jacente sévère, tels les immuno-déprimés, les patients avec ulcère de decubitus infecté ou les patients dont l’infection nécessite un traitement de plus de 14 jours (par exemple une fasciite nécrosante).
Patiënten met ernstige onderliggende aandoeningen zoals patiënten die immunogecompromitteerd waren, patiënten met geïnfecteerde decubituszweren of patiënten die infecties hadden waarbij een behandeling van meer dan 14 dagen nodig was (bijvoorbeeld necrotiserende fasciitis), waren niet geïncludeerd.

Ceci signifie que doit être évitée l’utilisation routinière d’autres tests tels que la cortisolurie (24h), la cortisolémie, le test L-RNAse et RNA-regulated protein kinase (PKR) antiviral pathways, le dosage de la vitamine B12 ou de l’acide folique sauf s’il y a une macrocytose, les tests immunitaires dont le nombre ou la fonction des natural killer cell (NK), les dosages des cytokines (interleukine-1, interleukine-6 ou interféron) ou des marqueurs cellulaires (immuno-phénotypage, c’est-à-dire CD25 ou CD16),… Les tests sérologiques doivent être réservés à des patients qui présentent des signes d’infection chronique (borréliose, infections virales chroniques telles que HIV ou hépatite B ou C) ou des signes d’infection aiguë (mononucléose infectieuse).

CD25 of CD16),… Serologische tests moeten voorbehouden blijven voor patiënten die tekens van chronische infectie (borreliose, chronische virale infecties zoals HIV of hepatitis B of C) of tekens van acute infectie (infectieuze mononucleose) vertonen.

En raison de l’immuno-déficience préexistante de ces patients et d’une neutropénie prolongée pouvant résulter du traitement par clofarabine, les patients présentent un risque élevé d’infections opportunistes sévères, à type de septicémie sévère d’évolution parfois fatale.
Vanwege de pre-existente immuungecompromitteerde toestand van deze patiënten en aanhoudende neutropenie die als gevolg van behandeling met clofarabine kan ontstaan, hebben deze patiënten een verhoogd risico op ernstige opportunistische infecties, waaronder ernstige sepsis met mogelijk dodelijke afloop.
