Au symposium pré-congres iADH qui a été organisé dans le cadre de cette étude, (voir également Chapitre 6), la définition suivante pour les personnes à besoins particuliers a été présentée par les participants des groupes de discussion : “People who cannot take care of their own (oral) health because of a mental, physical or medical condition, irrespective of age” ou en Français “Personnes qui ne peuvent pas prendre en charge eux-mêmes leur santé (buccodentaire) à cause de leur état mental, physique ou médical et ce sans limitation d’âge”.
Op het iADH pre-congres symposium dat in het kader van deze studie werd georganiseerd (zie ook Hoofdstuk 6), werd (specifiek voor deze opdracht) de volgende definitie voor personen met bijzondere noden voorgesteld door de aanwezigen van de discussiegroepen: “People who cannot take care of their own (oral) health because of a mental, physical or medical condition, irrespective of age” of in het Nederlands “Personen die niet zelf kunnen instaan voor hun (mond)gezondheid omwille van hun mentale, fysieke of medische toestand, en dat zonder leeftijdsbeperking”.

Pendant le pré-congres qui a été organisé dans le cadre de cette étude, suite au symposium de l’IADH, la définition pour les personnes à besoins particuliers a été présentée (spécifiquement pour cette mission) par les personnes présentent dans les groupes de discussion: “People who cannot take care of their own (oral) health because of mental, physical or medical condition, irrespective of age” ou en français “Personnes qui ne peuvent pas s’occuper de leur propre santé (bucco-dentaire) à cause de leur condition mentale, physique ou médicale, et ce sans limitation d’âge ”.
