La sélection d’un greffon se base de préférence sur la compatibilité (typage HLA) et la richesse cellulaire (Total nuclear cell count (TNC), numération des cellules CD34+ globale, et, pour certains auteurs, CFU ).
De transplantaten worden het best op basis van compatibiliteit (HLA-typering) en celgehalte/- aantal gekozen (aantal kernhoudende cellen: Total nuclear cell count (TNC), totale CD34+ celtelling, en, voor bepaalde auteurs, CFU's).
