Un article publié récemment dans La Revue Prescrire [21 : 534-537(2001)] confirme que la prise en charge des convul-sions hyperthermiques simples ou typiques consiste avant tout à informer et rassurer les parents, et qu’en raison des effets indésirables du diazépam (par ex. ataxie, somnolence, irritabilité), son administration en cas de fièvre ne se justifie pas de manière systématique, mais uniquement chez les enfants présentant des récidives fréquentes.
In een recent gepubliceerd artikel in La Revue Prescrire [21 : 534-537(2001)] wordt bevestigd dat de aanpak van " eenvoudige" of typische koortsstuipen er in de eerste plaats in bestaat de ouders in te lichten en gerust te stellen, en dat gezien het risico van ongewenste effecten (b.v. ataxie, slaperigheid, prikkelbaarheid), toediening van diazepam bij koorts niet systematisch gerechtvaardigd is, maar enkel bij kinderen met frequente recidieven.

En effet, le médecin n'a pas effectué de prestation médicale pour ce patient, et un médecin n'a droit à des honoraires que pour les prestations médicales qu'il a fournies (art. 15, 1er alinéa, de l'arrêté royal n° 78 du 10 novembre 1967 relatif à l'exercice de l'art de guérir, de l'art infirmier, des professions paramédicales et aux Commis-sions médicales).
