Lors d’une étude de thérapie combinée réalisée chez des patients traités par lithium ou valproate durant minimum 2 semaines, l’ajout d’une dose de 10 mg d’olanzapine (thérapie combinée avec lithium ou valproate) a donné lieu à une réduction plus importante des symptômes maniaques, par rapport à une monothérapie de lithium ou de valproate après 6 semaines.
In een co-therapiestudie bij patiënten die werden behandeld met lithium of valproaat gedurende minstens 2 weken, resulteerde de toevoeging van olanzapine 10 mg (in combinatie met lithium of valproaat) in een sterkere vermindering van de symptomen van manie na 6 weken dan lithium of valproaat in monotherapie.
